Airbnb
Airbnb is one of the first places I check when looking for accommodations. Airbnb hosts offer many different kinds of properties. You can rent single rooms, entire apartments or houses, yachts, houseboats, and even treehouses or a castle!
Booking.com
Booking.com is another fav of mine. They feature a variety of properties around the world. You can stay in luxury properties, boutique hotels, or even hostels if you’re on a budget. They usually have some pretty good deals too.
Hotellook
Hotellook searches for your destinations using a large booking services database, and finds you the best discounts. Prices include all the taxes and fees, so you only pay the amount you see on the screen. There are no hidden fees.
HotelsCombined
If you are looking for a hotel, check HotelsCombined. They compare all the top travel sites in one easy search. It’s super convenient, especially if you don’t have time to check all the other sites yourself. Be sure to check out their daily deals.
Agoda
Find and book the best deals for any kind of accommodation, whether you are looking for hotels, resorts, apartments, villas, homes, or hostels. Agoda has great prices on 2,000,000+ properties, worldwide.
Vrbo
If you don’t want to stay in a hotel, and would like the comfort of staying in a home, Vrbo has more unique properties in 190 countries around the world. Book cabins, condos, beach houses, villas, and even castles!
Hotels.com
Book hotel accommodations worldwide with Hotels.com.They offer over 800,000 hotels from major hotel chains, independents, beach resorts, boutique hotels, villas, apartments, and B&B’s in over 16,000 destinations. Check out their Rewards Program. Stay 10 nights, an get 1 reward night.
Hostelworld
If you are on a budget, and plan to stay in hostels, Hostelworld is a great source for finding one. They have reviews for all the hostels, so you can weed through the good, and the bad. Make sure to read them. There are definitely some bad hostels out there, and you don’t want to end up in one!
