Alliance Travel Insurance
I was never a believer in travel insurance. I kind of just liked to roll the dice and chance that all would go well.
Last winter, I booked a multi-city trip to Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Burlington, Vermont. At the last minute I decided to add the insurance… Had a feeling I might be needing it. All the cities had been getting hit hard with snow, and the weather forecast was predicting more. I thought I might get stuck somewhere. Everything went well until I was on my way home. Ironically, the problem wasn’t weather related! Halfway through the boarding process the airline announced that there was a hazardous spill on board… Long story short… A full blown HAZMAT team arrived, the flight was seriously delayed and I scrambled to find another flight home. I was given a standby ticket, and four hours later finally got on a flight to LAX. The only problem was, I missed the last connection to Santa Barbara, which is HOME! I had to take a shuttle bus!
Thankfully I had the insurance. It covered the extra expense of the bus, which was over $100, plus food and drinks from when I was stuck in Philadelphia. Would I purchase it again? It would depend on where I was traveling to and what time of year. I was glad I had it for that trip!

Protect your devices from being damaged! OtterBox makes cases for multiple phones and tablets. I’ve had one on my iPhone for a over a year now. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve dropped it on various surfaces, including concrete, and OtterBox has saved it!
This is a nice option if you need a safe since not all hotels are equipped. It’s lightweight, durable, and sturdy.
Great for organizing all your gadgets and personal effects! It fits easily into carry-on luggage too!
Everyone has a favorite guidebook preference. I like Lonely Planet. Make sure to wander though… Travel shouldn’t just be by the book!
Ahhh… The Hero! A must-have for every photographer that loves adventure travel! Love it!
I’ve been a Canon user for over 10 years. I love the reliability and consistent image quality produced with any of their products.
This is a great lens, and one I keep on my camera most of the time. I don’t like to carry a lot of photo gear when I’m traveling, and I don’t want to have to worry about switching lenses along the way. With this lens I’m able to have wide angle as well as telephoto coverage.
This one is just for pure fun! It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure it out you will be addicted! It’s sure to bring out the more artistic side of your photography! Check out what I’ve been doing with the Lensbaby
