SEPT 13: DAY 1:: CASABLANCA
Welcome To Morocco! Upon arrival in Casablanca, you will be met and brought by van to your hotel in Casablanca hotel. After you check in, relax for the afternoon. Depending on time, you could tour the impressive Hassan II mosque. Dinner will be served out in a local restaurant.

SEPT 14: DAY 2:: CASABLANCA / RABAT / CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast, we head towards Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco in the Rif Mountains. Along the way we’ll stop in Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King. We’ll have for lunch, and time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. You will visit the King’s Palace, the La Tour Hassan, Mausoleum, and more. After lunch we continue on to Chefchaouen for the night. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

SEPT 15: DAY 3:: CHEFCHAOUEN (B, D)
After breakfast, you will have a tour of this “cool” blue town, tucked away in the mountains. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. The “Blue City” is perfect for photography. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

SEPT 16: DAY 4:: CHEFCHAOUEN / VOLUBILIS / MEKNES / FES (B, D)
Before breakfast, you’ll want wander to the edge of the mountain for a gorgeous shot of this small Berber town. After breakfast, you’re off to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. The morning will be spent exploring the 2000-year-old ruins, and getting a taste of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch will be taken in Meknes one of Morocco’s Imperial cities. After lunch, you will take a tour of Meknes…including the stable of Moulay Ismael, the Bab Mansour, and medina. In the evening, we’re off to Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the hotel

SEPT 17: DAY 5:: FES (B, D)
At sunrise, catch some shots of the ancient city from the beautiful overlook. After breakfast, the guided tour of the medina begins. It’s one of the world’s largest walled in cities. Explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other art objects of Morocco. For lunch, eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. Complete the tour after lunch, and return to your hotel for the evening. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant.

SEPT 18: DAY 6:: FES / ERFOUD / SAHARA (B, D)
After an early breakfast we begin the ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as we cross the Atlas Mountains, and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Halfway, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. In the afternoon, you will make your way down along the Ziz River Valley. Upon arrival in Erfoud, you will jump into the 4x4s and head out to the dunes. Sunrise and sunset at the dunes is well worth the visit and a fantastic time for get some amazing desert photos.

SEPT 19: DAY 7 :: SAHARA DESERT (B, D)
Sunrise on the dunes is a must. In the morning, you will have an optional 4×4 ride around the dunes, and a visit to the Nomadic Berber Villages. Listen to some of their music , and get some people photos. For the adventurous, and some deep desert shots, you will take a camel for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis. You’ll spend the night in Berber tents (Dinner is included).

SEPT 20: DAY 8 :: SAHARA / TODRA GORGES / DADES GORGES (B, D)
After breakfast, you will return by camel to the 4x4s ,and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud you head out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Dades Gorges. In the afternoon, you’ll will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. You will stay the night in Skoura before you cross the High Atlas Mountains. Dinner will be served at the Kasbah.

SEPT 21: DAY 9:: SKURA / OUARZAZATE / AIT BENHADDOU (B, D)
After an early breakfast we’re off towards Ouarzazate along the route of 1000 Kasbahs. If you would like, you can visit the ancient Kasbahs in the palmaries. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you can visit this southern town, famous now for the films that have been produced in the area. You will then head out to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, where you will be ready for the sunset and sunrise. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path. This setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and The Gladiator. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

SEPT 22: DAY 10:: MARRAKECH (B, D)
After breakfast, we head towards Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains. Take some time enjoying this beautiful landscape. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel, and then head off to the Djemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The city comes alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. It’s also a great opportunity for some street photography. Enjoy quiet cup of tea on Relax on a terrace of an adjacent café , while enjoying a cup of tea, and you’ll be provided with a spectacular view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

SEPT 23:DAY 11:: DEPART MARRAKECH (B)
This will be a departure day. You can be transferred to the Marrakech airport for departure or even the Caablanca airport (3 hrs drive). Make sure to book afternoon flights if you depart out of Casablanca.
