Cleaning Up The Boat Wreckage
I headed down to East Beach where the boat had washed up. I had heard that there was a crew tearing it apart. I guess the cost was just too high for the owners to save it.
Tsunami Damage in Santa Barbara
I went down to the harbor today to check out the damage from the tsunami. I had heard that the bait shack was no more, and had pretty much crumbled as it went out into the harbor. This was a shot I took of it two weeks ago!
I guess I expected to see something left of it, however there was nothing! It was as if it never existed!
There was a lot of activity going on. It looked like some sort of clean up.
Santa Barbara Bike Moves
On the First Thursday of every month, you can find Bike Moves on the streets of Santa Barbara. Every month is a different theme… You can find it on their website if you feel like joining in. All you have to do is dress up, get on a bike, and ride. This group knows how to have fun, and is extremely entertaining.
Another Rainy Night
It rained all day today, so I decided that rain should be what I shoot tonight for the 365 project. At first, I was going to shoot from inside my car, but that seemed somewhat ridiculous. I grabbed a plastic bag to protect my camera, and headed out. I ended up at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Next time, I think an assistant with an umbrella would be a big help!
365 Project Mission Man
I was drawn to this statue at the Santa Barbara Mission for today’s photo. It looked like he was about to head out into traffic!
